The Ekiti State office of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Friday assured candidates sitting for the coming computer based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination of good computers.
Mrs. Elizabeth Adeyemo, JAMB Coordinator in the state spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Ado-Ekiti.
Adeyemo said that the office had extra computers in case any of the computers developed technical problem.
She said that there would be constant supply of electricity and stand-by generator in case of power failure.
Adeyemo said that 120 students were expected to sit for the forthcoming examinations.
She said that students should not entertain any fear over the condition of the computers, saying they should follow laid down instructions.
The coordinator advised students to comport themselves during the examination and not indulge in examination malpractices.
NAN reports that JAMB fixed May 17 to May 31 for the conduct of 2014 UTME through computer based test.
The paper based test had earlier been written on April 12 by candidates who chose the option
